About Us
Michael's Photography & Video is a full service commercial studio. With over two and a half decades of experience as a working, professional photographer, Michael understands that commercial photography is, at its core, about meeting the needs of the client. We believe the key components to good business relationships are simple. We do what we promise, for the cost we promise, & deliver the best work possible, and do it on time.

Production
Michael works on both simple and complex projects, and can handle all aspects of your production (such as make-up and hair, prop and wardrobe styling, location scouting, rental and permits, catering, organizing castings, talent, etc.). We believe in making sure all the necessary details and contingencies are covered, while still keeping the shoot as simple as possible to avoid unnecessary costs and complications. We maintain a comprehensive professional one million dollar insurance policy for your protection on any shoot we do.

Costs and Budget
We price our projects on a hourly fee basis to keep the process as simple and predictable as possible for the client. We understand our clients prefer to know a fixed cost in advance. We always honor our quote!
Our shooting rate is $175/hr. Our graphics rate is $75/hr.

The Studio
Michael's studio has a 25' x 60' shooting area (about 1500 square feet) with a 10 foot ceiling.We provide instant proofing by transmitting images to a monitor, ensuring client approval. We have an arsenal of lighting, lenses from true fisheye to 500mm and 28 years of on-the-job training… We got this. :0)

Shooting on Location
Much of our commercial work requires me to shoot on location.I'm very comfortable and experienced at mixing multiple light sources and creating smooth imagery.It usually requires just the right balance of artificial lighting from me blended with the ambient light that is available, as well as creating the correct white balance for accurate colors.
