Michael's began in 1982 with Daytona Beach's very first 1 Hour Photo Lab. In 1983, Michael photographed his first wedding and since then has photographed well-over 1000 weddings personally, and over 2000 weddings as a studio. | | Michael's has the area's largest studio shooting room with a shooting area of over 1200 square feet, along with state-of-the-art digital proofing. Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1980. After two years of Real Estate sales, he purchased a 22 year old camera and framing business in Daytona Beach. Within three months, he had purchased the area's first one hour photo lab allowing in-house photo finishing. Over the next few years, Michael began to find more enjoyment creating images instead of processing and printing other people's images. Michael quickly found his photography "niche"...weddings! Weddings keep the studio busy on weekends, allowing the week days for studio portraits and commercial and corporate work.
